In The Long Run, Women Prefer Feminine Looking Men
Researchers from the University of Aberdeen have published research that shows that generally, when women are looking for long term relationships, they prefer feminine looking men. This research is relevant to the Relationships option in Unit 3 of the New AQA-A Psychology Specification.

Want to Attract Men? - Chris de Burgh Was Right - Wear Red!
A couple of weeks ago we reported on research from the University of Nottingham that showed that being kind or altruistic was attractive to both sexes. Now more research, this time from the University of Rochester, published online today in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, shows that males are not only more attracted to women wearing red, but that they are also more likely to spend more money while out on a date. What's more, men are completely unaware of the influence of the colour red.

According to new research from Nottingham University, being altruistic or selfless can be sexually attractive to both sexes.
